WE DID IT!!! Mike Perks and his sons Tim and Andrew successfully covered 40km on foot in one day from Kettlespout to Coolin (slight change of route) summitting the 3 Hogs, Gaika & Elandsberg to raise funds for Scripture Union. Mike thinks he is the first person to achieve this with a pacemaker and recently replaced hip!

Scripture Union is a world wide interdenominational Christian youth organisation that runs camps, holiday clubs and Aids awareness lifeskills programmes in schools.

Mike was Regional Director in the Algoa Region of Scripture Union for 12 years and is currently
Chairman of the local executive.
